Kathleen Petitjean has been drawing since she first took a crayon to her parents' ceiling at age 3. When not painting, drawing or playing in her garden, she works as an Occupational Therapist with preschool children with special needs. Kathleen has had the good fortune to share her life with a succession of Newfoundland dogs; gentle old souls who accompany her in her work with children with autism.
In addition to bringing their calming, joyful spirits to interact with the children, Kathleen's Newfs are the inspiration for her annual holiday cards and other cards. Working primarily in pen and ink and watercolor, Kathleen also has a line of puppy note cards and "puppy announcement" cards featuring puppies of various breeds with their favorite toys.
